Little did artist Vanessa Kreckel know, way back in 2000, that she was starting an empire…
While working at University of Pennsylvania, she was frustrated by the limitations of invitation designs, with mass-market stationery focused on facts like date and place instead of representing who the clients truly were. Inspired by the possibilities of graphic design, she wanted to take things one step further, creating unique invitation suites that told a story about the couple through design, color palette and diverse materials. So, she set up shop at her kitchen table and put her unique sensibility to work. The result was TPD, a pioneering custom design house that foreshadowed the desire for customization across all aspects of the wedding industry.
Vanessa expanded what is now called TPD Design House by bringing her unique form of storytelling and personal branding to corporate clients and luxury niche businesses. Today, TPD Design House is a full-service design house based in a state-of-the-art warehouse in Wayne, Pennsylvania, where 22 employees including graphic designers and website programmers bring creativity to life.
When she's not running TPD Design House, Vanessa can be found traveling, gardening and experimenting with her newest passion, interior design, in the home she shares with wife Lauren and sons Cash and Landon, and her daughter Portland (aka Portie).

A talented designer, client aficionado, and jack of all trades around the office, Ana knew from a young age that she needed a creative career to keep her busy mind in check. So, she got herself a BFA in Graphic and Interactive Design from Tyler School of Art and never looked back. She finds inspiration all around her and draws on that to create solutions for clients. "I love getting that "aha!" moment when you are like, 'This is such a great idea, I want to high-five everyone!'" While we don't wear uniforms here at TPD you will most likely find her with sunglasses on her head and a coffee in her hand. When Ana isn't in the office, she can be found playing with her pup Dixie or getting a hearty diner breakfast with her fiancé.

A native of Syracuse and a graduate of SUNY Oswego, we couldn’t be happier that Brenda relocated to be a part of the TPD family. Working creatively in the social side of our business, seeing the final product is always the most exciting part for Brenda. "It's a really cool thing to design on screen and then get to feel the textures of paper & impression of letterpress,” Brenda says - and we agree! When she’s not impressing us with her mad design skills, you’ll see Brenda finding deals at Marshalls or binging on the latest reality TV show.

Brendan graduated from the University of Richmond with his BA in English, but he’s always had a real passion for the creative arts. He actually credits his love of food with inspiring his craving for design. "If it doesn't look good, you won't take the first bite, but if it doesn't taste good, you won't want to go much further than that first bite. The same thing is true in web design," he says. When Brendan isn’t focused on work, you’ll probably find him in the kitchen or obsessing over the future of Game of Thrones.
Ebone is a people person with the ability to always seek out the bigger picture. For Ebone, the best part of her job is seeing the client’s faces light up when they see a finished product.
