TPD is looking for a hyper-organized and strategic project manager to join our team. This project manager should have at least 2-3 years of professional project management experience and be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment where no two days are alike. You’re the right person for the job if you are:

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee the creation of our many, many projects. This includes transcribing and organizing meeting notes, organizing samples for client presentation, providing proofreading and cross-checking as needed, and overseeing quality control of deliveries
  • Acting as a liaison between the client and our designers, relaying information and answering questions from the design team
  • Daily project management tasks, which can include scheduling internal and external meetings, preparing invoices and payment forms, and communicating with vendors to gather costs and create timelines
  • Be the point person for client relationships. This includes fielding inquiries and unsolicited calls, managing vendor expectations in a timely and friendly manner, and maintaining clear and professional communication with all clients
  • Identify opportunities to optimize existing processes
  • Stay aware of TPD’s brand perception with existing clients
  • Dare myself and TPD to think bigger every day
  • Identify opportunities for personal growth and actively invest in them
  • Read, source, and share innovative ideas in the industry
  • Participate and collaborate to create a team-first environment

Web Developer

TPD Design House is looking for a senior front end developer possessing extensive experience with Shopify to join our team. The candidate should have great skills in creating custom Shopify themes and apps and work in a team environment to create functional and beautiful websites. We need a candidate that has a great eye for detail and accurately translating a design mock up to full-blown site as well as the creativity to enhance them further with custom effects, transitions and animations.

You’re the right person for the job if you have:

  • Extensive experience building and deploying custom Shopify themes from scratch.
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to build sites that match them to designs as close to pixel-perfect as possible.
  • Extensive experience utilizing Themekit, the Shopify partner dashboard and developer stores, and utilizing development environments and git branching to keep track of edits to new sites and make changes to live sites.
  • Knowledge of Liquid, Javascript, HTML, CSS(Sass ideally), and Git. 
  • Significant experience using Shopify’s schema and sections to create themes which are as editable as possible for clients.
  • Experience using Shopify Metafields for unique product data and enhanced blog publishing
  • A modular, component-based approach to development and you utilize Shopify snippets, SASS variables and mixins, and strive to make your javascript as reusable as possible.
  • Experience utilizing high-quality public Shopify apps such as Recharge and Bold apps.
  • Experience using libraries such as Greensock, Masonry/Isotope, Flickity or Slick Slider, and Instafeed to create custom animations, sliders, and image galleries.
  • A collaborative, pragmatic and team-first approach.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience building custom WordPress themes from scratch using the Underscores starter theme, Advanced Custom Fields, Gravity Forms, and Custom Post Type UI.  
  • Experience creating private Shopify apps to add additional features such as custom subscriptions or billing, product fields, shipping customizations, etc.
  • Experience using the Shopify Storefront API.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with project managers and clients during early project phases to outline the technical requirements and limitations of Shopify and suggest alternative strategies when necessary. 
  • Work closely with the designers in the early phases of the site design to provide technical direction
  • Work closely with art directors and project managers on assigned projects
  • Interpret a client’s vision and turn it into something amazing
  • Understand the scope and timeline for each project
