An Autumn Horse Farm Wedding
The stunning transformation of a private Indiana estate
Surrounded by fall foliage and thousands of orchids, this couple tied the knot on their private horse farm outside of Indianapolis. The outdoor ceremony featured a lattice backdrop and custom aisle built with stone and grass, followed by a horse-drawn carriage that served as the couple’s grand post-ceremony exit.
A total of 38 crystal chandeliers dripped from the ceiling during cocktail hour, where escort cards were displayed on a boxwood wall trimmed with mirrored silver. The walls then opened to reveal the reception entrance, featuring a sunken dance floor with custom monogram. Mixed materials and elevated settings elegantly played off the farm’s natural beauty.
A Save-the-Date suite was housed in a velvet-lined box with white leather and gold foil.
THE INVITATION
Hand-sewn white leather envelopes lined with neutral velvet held an embossed lucite invitation with engraved brass details. The invite was nested inside a custom rigid box on a bed of preserved boxwood, offering guests a glimpse of what was to come.
Personalized Moments
No wedding day item is too big or too small when it comes to making it personal. From custom pillows at cocktail hour to an embroidered handkerchief worn by the groom, every detail is considered with thought and care.
Ceremony programs were printed on a warm gray stock and tied with white suede cord.
ESCORT CARDS
Escort cards lived in semi-transparent envelopes, personalized with gold calligraphy. Envelopes were displayed on mirrored shelves on a boxwood wall.
Menus were layered with a white linen backer. The topper is a gold foil-stamped white paper with an embossed monogram.
The Rehearsal Luncheon
The Rehearsal Luncheon took place in the center of the horse riding area, framed with pergolas for the occasion. The menus were made to fit on the center of the plate and compliment the luncheon’s bright autumn florals.
